Estero is one of the fastest growing communities in Lee County, where you can raise your children from kindergarten through university, and we are proud to be the entrance gateway leading into Florida's newest state university, Florida Gulf Coast University. Estero is the location of the Pinewoods Elementary School, one of Lee County's newest and most beautiful schools. It is proud to be the location of one of the newest and most advanced high schools in Lee County, the Estero High School, home of the Wildcats Football Team and a wide range of championship sport teams. Our high school and elementary school have received a five star rating. Estero is also the proud host to the newest and largest high-tech county library, the South County Regional Library.
Estero is also the location of a new ice hockey arena and the home of the Florida Everglades. This facility will also host a wide variety of concerts, that will bring to our area many cultural and entertaining events.
